We at LumoBlue, use only the best grade of Stainless Steel,  316L and made in Sheffield. Its is hypoallergenic, more durable, heavier, has better scratch resistance than sterling silver and will not tarnish. It is perfect for those with a nickel sensitivity as it does not release nickel, and this type can even be implanted under the skin.

We use only the best quality available Titanium. It is a commercially pure quality, which provides high strength, high corrosion resistance and durability. It is naturally a grey colour but we can polish it to create a brighter grey, satin makes the grey darker and shot blasting gives it a gun metal colour. Unlike cheaper titanium grades, our rings can be engraved and easily removed during an emergency.

Black Zirconium is a great choice for any jewellery. Corrosion resistant, high tarnish point and a silky smooth ceramic feel. Aesthetically beautiful and perfect for those with skin allergies. We heat treat our rings in a kiln for several hours to create the best finish possible.

Our Damascus stainless Steel rings consists of two different hardened steel grades 304L and 316L. Both of which are variations of the 18 percent chromium, 8 percent nickel alloy, welded together in lots of layers. It combines corrosion resistance with superior strength. Easy to maintain, strong and durable.
It is stainless and suitable for jewellery where corrosion resistance and aesthetics are important.

Timascus (also known as Titanium Damascus), is a high-end, lightweight, and durable option as a ring. Timascus is known to tarnish very easy, however we offer a lifetime of polishing with the ring. With unparalleled levels of hardness and resistant to most solvents and chemicals we want to keep your ring in the best condition possible.

This beautiful pattern is created by fusing different titanium alloys and then heat treated to create breath-taking colour combinations. Each Timascus piece is unique. The shades and colours will slightly vary from ring to ring. Also because heat treating is not an exact science as it is done by hand. It may not always look the same as the photo, but I will make it as close to it as possible.

Zircuti is a medium weight metal, made from forging different alloys and then heat treating it to bring out the colour. Like Timascus, Zircuti is known to scratch so we offer a lifetime of polishing with the ring. Each piece is unique and it is possible to achieve the different tone of colours by applying heat for different lengths of time. You can choose from "Light Blue" or "Dark Blue" and the colour options are available in each ring album. Both Zircuti and Timascus are an unusual alternative to silver and gold rings.

That's not a problem, we have ring size service you can find that here!

Alternatively you could purchase one, they normally cost a few pounds and can be bought at eBay or Amazon. Ideally fingers should be sized properly by a professional jeweller using a ring sizer.  If this is not possible then you can do the following.

  1. Find a piece of string or strip of paper no wider than 1.4 cm (1/2 inch).

  2. Wrap it around the base of the appropriate finger.

  3. Use a pen to mark the point on the string/paper where it overlaps, forming a complete circle.

  4. With a ruler, measure the length from the starting end of the string/paper to the pen mark.

  5. Let us know.

Here are some tips to make your ring size measurement more accurate:

  • Don't measure cold fingers. This is when fingers are their smallest

  • For the most accurate reading, measure the finger at the end of the day when the finger is the largest.

The greater the width of the ring the larger your ring size needs to be. We recommend if you are purchasing a ring over 6mm width, you have your finger professionally measured, or use our larger ring gauge size. inform the jeweller that you are also purchasing a larger width of ring as all rings are made to measure the size you give us.

We use the same ring measurements as all high street jewellers.
